Recruitment
Recruitment is the process of finding, assessing and hiring people for a team. For UX and design roles it has its own challenges: job titles mean different things at different companies, portfolios only show part of how someone works, and hiring managers and candidates often have different ideas of what a UX role involves.
Getting recruitment right matters because the makeup of a team shapes what it can design and how well it works together.
The talk collected here is “40 Things you didn’t know about #UX recruitment” by Be Kaler at Northern User Experience in 2014, tagged with design, team management, usability and user experience. This is a sub-topic of team management.
