Experience Sampling
Experience sampling is a research method in which participants are asked short questions at intervals during their normal day, often via a prompt on their phone, about what they are doing, thinking or feeling at that moment. Because answers are captured in context and close to the event, they avoid much of the distortion that comes with asking people to remember or predict their behaviour later.
The talk collected here is “Don’t Listen to Users, Sample Their Experience!” by Tomer Sharon (2014), tagged with Lean UX, user research and users. This is a sub-topic of user research.
