Pattern Libraries
A pattern library is a collection of reusable interface components and patterns, documented with guidance on when and how to use them. In-house pattern libraries and style guides help teams build consistent interfaces, avoid solving the same problem twice and share a common vocabulary between design and development. They are a core part of what is now often called a design system.
The talk collected here is “Style Guide Best Practices” by Brad Frost at beyond tellerrand in 2015, tagged with design and design patterns. UI-Patterns.com itself is a public pattern library of common interface and persuasive design patterns.
