GSummit
GSummit is a conference about gamification, which it describes as a design process that can make a product, service, project or business process more engaging, fun, sticky and viral. Its premise is that games and the gamer generation have made engagement harder to create and sustain, and that organisations in finance, healthcare, education, travel, entertainment and B2B services use gamification to change behaviour.
Two talks are recorded here. In 2012, Nadya Direkova presented 16 Design Patterns for User Engagement, and in 2014 Nicole Lazzaro gave The Science of Fun: 3 Ways Games Make You Happier and Save the World. The topics include gamification, onboarding and user engagement.
