David Travis
David Travis holds a PhD in experimental psychology and has carried out field research and usability testing since 1989. He is the founder of Userfocus, a user experience consultancy that has worked with organizations such as Microsoft, eBay, Skype and the UK government, and runs the training site UXTraining.net. He has published three books on UX, including Think Like a UX Researcher, co-written with Philip Hodgson.
In “The 7 deadly sins of user research” (Northern User Experience, 2014), David Travis looks at seven common failings in user research. The talk is filed under design, usability, usability testing, user experience and user research, and will help researchers and designers check their own practice.
