Moishe Lettvin
Moishe Lettvin is a software engineer who has been writing code since 1987. He worked at Microsoft from 2002 to 2006, including on the Windows Vista shutdown menu, and later wrote a widely read account of why that small feature took a year to build. He then spent seven years at Google and several more at Etsy, followed by engineering roles at Slack and Mailchimp. He has a particular interest in fair technical interviewing and hiring practices.
In What I Learned Doing 250 Interviews at Google, Moishe Lettvin shares lessons from conducting a large number of job interviews. The talk is filed under interviewing and user research, two practices that share many of the same skills.
