Scott Heiferman

Scott Heiferman is co-founder and CEO of Meetup. Each week, 50,000 Meetups are self-organized by millions of people “using the internet to get off the internet”, and the company’s long-range goal is a “Meetup Everywhere about Most Everything”, so that everyone has access to local community around what matters to them. Scott lives in New York City, graduated from The University of Iowa and was named the 2004 MIT Tech Review Innovator of the Year.
