Aaron Gustafson

Aaron Gustafson is the founder and technical lead of Easy Designs, a content-focused web development consultancy. He has been closely involved with web standards since 2005, as an Invited Expert to the W3C and as former Group Manager of the Web Standards Project (WaSP). At WaSP he founded Web Standards Sherpa, a publication on web design best practices, and the Web Standards + Small Business outreach effort. He wrote the book Adaptive Web Design.

His talk here, Designing with Empathy, was given at beyond tellerrand in 2013. It covers emotional engagement, user research and understanding the people who use what we build.
