B. J. Fogg
B. J. Fogg was the first scientist to articulate the concept of “captology”, a word he coined to describe the overlap between persuasion and computers. He founded the Stanford Persuasive Technology Lab and has directed several persuasive projects at Stanford on topics such as trust, credibility, mobile persuasion and Mass Interpersonal Persuasion.
His talk here, Individuals Must Change Habits for Better Health, is from 2011. It covers habits, health, designing behaviors and persuasive design.
