Ken Norton is a product leader and executive coach for product and technology leaders. He joined Google in 2006 through its acquisition of JotSpot, where he was vice president of products, and spent about 14 years there, leading product work on Google Docs, Calendar and Mobile Maps and serving as a partner at GV (Google Ventures), where he advised portfolio companies on product. Ken Norton’s talk here, 10x not 10% - Product management by orders of magnitude, was recorded at Mind the Product in 2015. As the title suggests, it contrasts incremental improvement with aiming for changes that are ten times better, and what that means for how product managers set goals and approach innovation. The talk is filed under product management, management and innovation.
