Canvases
A canvas is a one-page template that breaks a product or business idea into a few named boxes, so a team can see its assumptions side by side and discuss them. Well-known examples include the Business Model Canvas and the Lean Canvas.
Canvases are useful in product work because they are quick to fill in and easy to change. They make gaps visible, keep conversations focused and give designers, product managers and stakeholders a shared picture of what they are trying to build.
The one talk in this topic is “The Future Product Canvas” by Paul Adams, recorded at Mind the Product in 2013. It sits within the design process and product management topics.
