Icon Design
Icons are small symbols that stand for actions, objects or ideas in an interface. Good icons are recognisable at small sizes, consistent as a set and clear in meaning, ideally supported by a text label where there is room for doubt.
The one talk in this topic is “The Icon Design Process” by Jon Hicks, recorded at beyond tellerrand in 2014 and also listed under the design process.
