Jonathan Hoefler

Jonathan Hoefler is a typeface designer and the founder of The Hoefler Type Foundry. He was named one of the forty most influential designers in America by I.D. Magazine, and his original typeface designs have been made for publications such as Rolling Stone, The New York Times Magazine and Sports Illustrated. Perhaps his best-known work is the Hoefler Text family, designed for Apple Computer and included in the Macintosh operating system.
