Sara Wachter-Boettcher
Sara Wachter-Boettcher is a content strategist, author and speaker based in Philadelphia. She has run the content strategy and UX consultancy Rare Union, was editor in chief of A List Apart, and later founded Active Voice, which coaches tech and design workers on leadership. She is the author of Content Everywhere, about creating flexible, mobile-ready content, co-author with Eric Meyer of Design for Real Life, and author of Technically Wrong: Sexist Apps, Biased Algorithms, and Other Threats of Toxic Tech.
In Everybody Hurts: Content for Kindness, recorded at Northern User Experience in 2015, Sara Wachter-Boettcher looks at content from the point of view of users who may be going through difficult moments. The talk covers content design, content strategy, UX writing and usability.
