Susan Weinschenk

Susan Weinschenk is a behavioral psychologist with a PhD from Pennsylvania State University who has worked in design and user experience since 1985. She is the founder and chief behavioral scientist of The Team W, a consultancy applying behavioral science to design and business, and is known for making psychology accessible to designers. Her books include 100 Things Every Designer Needs to Know About People, 100 More Things Every Designer Needs to Know About People, Neuro Web Design and How to Get People to Do Stuff.

In these talks, Weinschenk applies cognitive psychology to design. The Top 10 Things You Need to Know about Perception was recorded at UX Brighton in 2014, and Vision, Hearing & the Brain at Smashing Conference in 2015. Both focus on how people perceive what they see and hear, and what that means for the people designing interfaces for them.
