Sketching
Sketching is the quick, hand-drawn exploration of ideas. For designers it is a way of thinking: drawing many variations fast, seeing what works and discarding what does not before investing time in polished work. It is used in typography and graphic design as much as in interface design, where rough sketches of screens and flows are often the first step.
The talk collected here is “Intricate beauty by design” by Marian Bantjes at TED Talks in 2010, tagged with design and typography.
