Future of Web Design

Future of Web Design is a three-day event for designers, front-end developers and others working on the web, with a focus on inspiration, contacts and knowledge for a fast-changing field.

Two talks from the event are recorded here. In A Tour of the Design Process at 37signals (2010), Ryan Singer walks through how one product team approaches designing software; the talk is filed under interface design and web applications. In Designing the User Experience Curve (2008), Andy Budd addresses user experience and customer experience.

Together they give a view of web design as both a hands-on craft and a way of thinking about the whole experience a product offers.
