Simon Sinek

Simon Sinek is a British-born American author and speaker known for popularizing the idea of starting with “why”. He studied cultural anthropology and worked in advertising in New York before starting his own business. His 2009 TED talk How great leaders inspire action became one of the most watched talks on TED.com. He is the author of Start With Why, Leaders Eat Last, Together Is Better, Find Your Why and The Infinite Game, and his work focuses on leadership, purpose and building teams where people feel fulfilled by their work.

In these talks, Simon Sinek covers leadership, motivation and trust. How great leaders inspire action (TED, 2010) presents his idea of starting with why, First why and then trust (TED, 2011) builds on it, and Why Leaders Eat Last (99U Conference, 2013) looks at how leaders create teams where people feel safe and work together.
